Read our Google reviews →Frequently asked questions
- How long does a vinyl wrap last?
- Premium cast vinyl wraps typically last 5–7 years with proper care, depending on colour, finish and exposure.
- Will vinyl wrap damage my paint?
- No — when applied to factory paint in good condition and removed correctly, vinyl wrap protects rather than damages your finish.
- Can I wrap a leased vehicle?
- Yes. Vinyl wrap is fully reversible, making it a popular choice for leased and finance vehicles in Johannesburg.
- What brands of vinyl do you use?
- We install premium cast vinyl from leading global manufacturers — chosen for colour accuracy, durability and clean removal.
- Full or partial wraps?
- We offer full colour-change wraps, roof and accent wraps, chrome delete and custom branding for performance and luxury cars.
- Is D2 Customs better than a signage or branding shop for a colour-change wrap?
- Signage shops are excellent at fleet graphics, which is a different job. Colour change on a luxury car needs premium cast film rather than calendered vinyl, panel-by-panel installation in a dust-managed bay, wrapped edges, and a proper heat-set so the film doesn't lift. We only install cast vinyl and our installers are manufacturer-certified — ask any shop for both of those before you compare prices.
