Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of D2 Customs ("we", "us", "our") detailing services and this website. By making a booking or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms.

Bookings & Appointments

  • All visits to the studio are by appointment only.
  • Bookings are confirmed by email and WhatsApp once accepted.
  • Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may need to reschedule to ensure other clients are not affected.
  • Quoted timeframes are estimates. Vehicles in unusually poor condition may require additional time and we will discuss this with you before proceeding.

Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing is on enquiry. Final pricing is confirmed in writing after we assess Your Vehicle.
  • A deposit may be required for select services and bookings involving paint correction, PPF, or ceramic coating.
  • Payment is due on collection unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a booking. Late cancellations on services requiring a deposit may forfeit that deposit, at our reasonable discretion.

Your Vehicle

  • You confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle, or are authorised by the owner to commission work on it.
  • Please remove personal valuables before leaving the vehicle with us. We are not responsible for items left inside.
  • We will inform you of any pre-existing damage or paint defects noticed during inspection. Photographs may be taken for our records.
  • Vehicles left after the agreed collection time may be subject to a daily storage fee.

Workmanship & Warranty

Our work is carried out by trained technicians using premium products. Where a manufacturer warranty applies (e.g. PPF or ceramic coatings), the manufacturer's terms govern that warranty. Outside of those manufacturer warranties, our responsibility is limited to re-performing any service that did not meet the agreed scope, where notified within a reasonable period.

Liability

We take great care of every vehicle in our studio, including appropriate insurance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for the affected service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or pre-existing damage that we did not cause.

Website Use

The content on this website — including text, photography, and branding — is owned by D2 Customs and may not be reproduced without permission. Please do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, or abuse the site or its forms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be addressed in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Gauteng.
